The highly-anticipated collaboration between Arena of Valor and famous anime Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba is set to release on May 6, 2022, as announced by the MOBA game's official Twitter handle.
Game developer Tencent Games, animation studio Ufotable, and manga publisher Shueisha have partnered to release an epic collaboration between Arena of Valor (AoV) and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The anime series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" premiered in April 2019. It is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge (Shueisha JUMP Comics) and is animated by Ufotable. The plot centers on Tanjiro Kamado, a young man whose family was assassinated by demons. He joins the "Demon Slaying Corp" in order to revert his sister Nezuko Kamado back to human form. Not only in Japan but also in every part of the world, the tragic story of mankind and demons, the spirited sword fights, and the odd, funny parts have been popular.
According to game publisher Garena, Arena of Valor and the anime Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba have collaborated to bring skins of the main character, Tanjiro Kamado, and his sister, Nezuko Kamado, to the battlefield. Additionally, players can look forward to the other collaboration skins and abundant in-game rewards.
The collaboration will be part of the 5v5 Friends Fest, a month-long series of events. Players will be able to purchase new Demon Slayer skins inspired by the anime's characters, Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado. Keera will receive a Nezuko skin, while Yan, the game's most recent hero, will receive a Tanjiro skin.
The fundamental principle of the 5V5 Fest is to "fight together, to protect, to never give up," which emphasizes the importance of bonds between players. The planned series of events will showcase the affinity of the AoV x Demon Slayer collab.
