HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail, the latest installment to the Honkai series, will kick off its second closed beta test (CBT) on PC, iOS, and Android, in a recent schedule. The first closed beta was held in October last year. The upcoming game features a standalone story with new and returning characters, as well as a refined turn-based fighting system that will appeal to both veteran Honkai fans and beginners alike.
Honkai: Star Rail Overview
Honkai Star Rail depicts a game universe filled with myths and legends woven into the space sci-fi story. There are Aeons in this universe, incarnations of universal principles capable of freely traveling between infinite worlds via some primitive force.
The galaxy is densely packed with worlds, each with its own unique landscapes and stories; the Aeons that roam the universe adhere to their own beliefs, among which is the Destruction, who sees the universe as a fallacy and civilization as cancer, spreading seeds of ruin known as Stellarons throughout the galaxy.
The protagonist, who has been implanted with a Stellaron, embarks on a journey aboard the Astral Express with a group of passengers who claim to have inherited the spirit of the Trailblaze, pursuing the Aeons' trails in order to explore the universe's realms. The expedition progresses as the protagonist and his crew search for definitive answers to the journey's purpose and unearths legends' secrets.
Honkai Star Rail allows players to participate in the Astral Express and journey through a variety of unique worlds, each filled with adventures and surprises. Throughout the whirlwind journey of a star-chasing ride, players will encounter new companions and familiar faces, resolving Stellaron-related conflicts and eventually unraveling the mysteries hidden within.
This role-playing game features an easy-to-learn strategic turn-based combat system and expansive maps and mazes that require puzzle-solving and exploration, providing players with epic combat and an adventure filled with surprises and rewards.
How to register for the second CBT of Honkai Star Rail?
For those interested players who want to register for the game's second CBT, you can go to the official Honkai: Star Rail website (https://hsr.hoyoverse.com/).
Beta testers will be chosen randomly, and all saved data will be deleted following the test.
While the closed beta sign-up is available via the official website today, April 28, 2022, the kick-off date and schedule of the Closed Beta will be revealed later.
