2022 SEA Games Mobile Legends: Schedule, Format, Streams

The 31st edition of the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 2022) is here. And for the second time, it features esports titles, including the mobile MOBA game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), one of the most famous mobile games in the region.

Seven countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Laos, will compete to determine the best MLBB squad in Southeast Asia.

2022 SEA Games Mobile Legends Format

The seven competing teams were divided into two separate groups. The format of the games has not yet been specified.

Group A
  • Philippines
  • Malaysia
  • Laos
  • Myanmar

Group B
  • Indonesia
  • Vietnam
  • Singapore

If the format is identical to the 30th Southeast Asian Games, all group stage matches should be a best-of-two (Bo2) series. Following the group stage, the first-placed teams in each group will advance to the upper bracket, while the second-placed teams will be placed in the lower bracket.

The 2021 Southeast Asian Games (31st SEA Games) is a biennial multi-sport event featuring eleven participating nations.

This year's tournament is hosted by Vietnam and features both traditional sports and esports competitions.
