
The biennial regional multi-sport event 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 2022) features esports titles for the second time, following its victorious debut at the 30th SEA Games in 2019.
The esports category of 31st SEA Games features a total of eight video game titles, including Free Fire, CrossFire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Arena of Valor, FIFA Online 4, League of Legends, and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
In addition, the Wild Rift is divided into two separate competitions for men and women.
Meanwhile, the PUBG Mobile event was split into individual and team categories.
All 11 members of the Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) Federation, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos, are participating.
