Apex Legends Mobile set to release globally on May 17, 2022

Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn Entertainment have released a new trailer for Apex Legends Mobile, announcing the game will launch globally on May 17, 2022, for iOS and Android devices.

Apex Legends Mobile is an all-new Apex Legends experience built from the ground up for mobile platforms. It is a standalone experience based on the core gameplay that millions of players know and love, offering thrilling new game modes, social systems, and features to play on the go.

The free-to-play mobile battle royale shooter was built with competitive, mobile-focused players in mind, delivering various mobile-focused features and innovations.

As a reminder, there is still time for players to pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile and help the community unlock rewards set to go live at launch next week. Android users can pre-register via Google Play Store. Meanwhile, iOS users can pre-register via the official website (https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/apex-legends-mobile).

Since Apex Legends Mobile has been built specifically for mobile, it doesn't feature cross-play with Apex Legends console or PC versions.

The mobile version of Apex Legends will feature its own Battle Passes, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables different from PC and console versions.

To play Apex Legends Mobile smoothly, here are its minimum specs required for Android and iOS:

Prior to the soft launch, it entered the closed beta test (CBT) phase in the Philippines in May 2021, followed by another CBT in August 2021 with the inclusion of Malaysia and Indonesia.
