HoYoverse, the maker of Genshin Impact, also known as miHoYo, has teased a new game titled Zenless Zone Zero.
The teaser website with the title Record of Unknown Time reveals that the official reveal is slated for May 13, 2022.
Moreover, it plays a news broadcast when the television is turned on.
The video clip depicts a portion of a city that is starting to be engulfed by a mysterious black dome. This phenomenon is referred to by the reporter as a "sub-hollow." In the interim, public safety has established a "level 2 control zone" and is evacuating residents.
The room depicted on the teaser site has a retro appearance, with an old CRT television, an abundance of VHS tapes, and a VHS recorder. Currently, there is no other official information regarding the game.
Zenless Zone Zero was described as a "triple-A open-world action-adventure game" with "shooting-based gameplay" in a "living, breathing paranormal world," making it somewhat distinct from Genshin Impact.
Meanwhile, HoYoVerse continues to work on its other games, including Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and the unreleased Honkai Star Rail.
Zenless Zone Zero has no release date or release platforms yet. More information is expected to be revealed on May 13.
