Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse announced its latest urban fantasy action RPG title, Zenless Zone Zero, or ZZZ for short. Registration for the initial closed beta test (CBT) is available now via the official website (zenless.hoyoverse.com).
The first CBT phase will only be available for iOS and PC users, though the full game will be accessible on PCs and both iOS and Android devices. HoYoverse also released notes and FAQs about the Tuning Test recruitment. There are also CBT events like Type II Bonus Event and Z·Z·Z Beta Giveaway.
Users can sign up for the closed beta test of Zenless Zone Zero for a limited time, but there is no set release date. This will be revealed at a later date. Currently, users can register using their HoYoVerse account. The closed beta test will be available in the following languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Moreover, a video trailer has been released, providing a look at the characters that will appear in the ARPG title, along with a brief glimpse at combat.
According to miHoYo's global brand HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero is an all-new game IP set in the post-apocalyptic metropolitan city of New Eridu. It features a captivating story, futuristic visuals, unique characters, and an action-oriented combat system. The players will assume the role of "Proxy" and embark on an adventure with a diverse group of allies to defeat unknown foes and uncover the city's secrets.
A supernatural catastrophe known as the "Hollows" has annihilated contemporary civilization. They grow exponentially out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions in which the "Ethereal" monsters roam. New Eridu, the final urban civilization to survive the apocalypse, prospered by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources from the Hollows.
In addition to an engaging narrative, this 3D anime-style game features a cinematic, fluid, action-oriented combat system. During battles against Ethereal, players can assume control of a variety of characters to unleash electrifying abilities and limitless QTE combos. Additionally, the game features a Roguelike gameplay mechanism that awaits discovery.
